When you register, it will send a notification to me so that I will go into the website and approve you.

There are some assignments available on the site, as well as some songs for fun. For whatever reason, it only likes iPad and computers.
​
In order to record, you will need whatever device you are using to have a microphone. If you don't have one, by all means just use SmartMusic for the music and record what you play on your phone. No big deal. :)
​
If you are not able to get SmartMusic, all of the assignments are in our DropBox. (There are also some other songs in DropBox, too.)

Catch up week! Let's be real. You have a lot to focus on. You've got your health and other packets to think of. If your top thoughts through this have been band, I appreciate it, but we might need to talk about priorities. Use this week to breathe a bit and catch up on what has been assigned. There is no rush. Remember, the most important thing is to stay creative and have fun!

Current assignments for Symphonic Band are your Concert D scale and a rhythm exercise.
Percussion has a 9-stroke roll as well as the scale. I recommend the Marimba/Xylophone/Vibraphone app. It is free on both Android and Apple.

Our regular Zoom meetings will be on Tuesdays at 2:00. I will email the passwords to your student email accounts.

HOW DO I LOGIN TO MY STUDENT EMAIL?
Your student email is the same login you used on the school computer. Some variation of your name ending with @student.acpsd.net, and the same password.
HOW ARE WE COMMUNICATING?
I am sending out emails to your student emails regularly. We also have Discord, Zoom, Remind, and Facebook available. Links will be shared over email.
WHAT IF I CAN'T ACCESS SMARTMUSIC?
No problem. We have the assignments also posted on DropBox. You can video yourself on your phone and either email or text me the recording.
WHAT IF I DON'T SOUND GOOD?

I just want to hear you play. I will give you feedback based on what I hear. It could sound like a train driving into the side of a mountain, and I will be happy to listen and give suggestions. I miss hearing you play.
